Four things to check before a first long drive
“Can I leave the ETC card in the reader?” That is a common question at pickup. If this is your first rental for a longer trip, these four checks help.
1. The ETC card
If you bring your own card, we show you how to insert and remove it. If you do not have one, ask us at booking.
2. Licence expiry
You need a valid licence on pickup day. If renewal is close, check the date before you come in.
3. Parking at the destination
Coast and sightseeing spots fill by season. Build slack into arrival time, or look up a lot in advance.
4. Working back from return time
Leave about an hour of slack for traffic and fuel. If you will be late, call as soon as you know.
