What to watch on a wet, unfamiliar road
Rain on a road you do not know feels different from rain on your commute. These notes come from comments we hear at return.
Check the wipers before you leave
We test them at handover. If the view still looks smeared, call us. Worn rubber can leave streaks.
Leave more space than usual
Wet pavement adds stopping distance. On highway merges and downhill stretches, slow earlier than you would on a dry day.
Speed can feel lower than it is
In poor visibility people often feel slower than the speedometer. Glance at posted limits rather than relying only on the nav voice.
